Apéritif launches Christmas cocktail bar

Guernsey’s luxury drinks catering service, Apéritif, has launched a temporary Christmas-themed cocktail bar in the heart of Guernsey’s historic Market Buildings. Launched on Saturday 25th November, the pop-up cocktail bar is open from 6.30pm Thursday through Saturday until 23rd December.

“It’s so exciting to be opening up our services to the public for the first time, our latest project, Noué, is designed to make you feel like you’re enjoying Christmas in your living room and we have achieved just that. We have had great feedback from our soft launch weekend and we’re looking forward to our next four weeks of trading.” James Le Gallez, Founder, Apéritif.

Noué, which is Guernésiais for Christmas, offers a host of exciting new cocktails all designed around the festive season, designed by award-winning bartender, James Le Gallez, as well as a varied selection of local produce from Haut Maison and White Rock Brewery.

The pop-up bar features all of the classic touches of Christmas, minus the mistletoe, plus a range of comfortable seating.
“I’ve always wanted a bar in Guernsey, where you could get yourself really comfy in a big armchair, relax for a few hours and be able to hear your conversation without being drowned out by loud music. Whilst Christmas is the undeniable theme for this temporary bar, that was the real driving force behind this project.”
Noué can be found in the Market Building’s Inner Street, which is accessible from either Fountain Street or Market Square and closes December 23rd.
