Apéritif wins Bailiwick Business Academy

We are so very pleased to announce that we have become the inaugural winner of the Bailiwick Business Academy, scooping the top prize of £15,000 of promotional support, as well as introductions with potential investors.

We were one of the four finalists who pitched to an expert panel of investors – including Aaron Chatterley, Simon Perée and Zef Eisenberg – at Ormer restaurant in Jersey this week, which were two businesses from Guernsey and two businesses from Jersey.

Over the course of the day, each business was granted ten minutes to present their business and then five minutes for questions from the panelists.

After pitching had finished, we were still under the microscope as we were invited to lunch and were moved from table to table during courses, where we got to learn more about the potential investors and they got to learn more about us!

But that wasn’t all – to finish the day we had 60 seconds to present the room with a final salvo; why did we deserve to win and what made our business investable?

Three long days then passed before we would find out the results and we’re very glad to announce that our performance paid off! We’ve been presented with £15,000 in promotional support to help the overall business expand as well interest from potential investors.
