Four Cocktails You Can Make At Home for Italian National Day

Today (2nd June), is Italy’s National Day; “Festa della Republica”. Italy are famed for their beautiful and simple cocktails, read on for this quick & easy selection that you can shake up at home in just a few minutes.

Combine the following in a large glass, stir with ice and serve over fresh ice in a lowball glass.

  • 25ml London Dry Gin (i.e. Fords, Tanqueray or Beefeater)
  • 25ml Campari
  • 25ml Red Vermouth (i.e. Martini Rosso or Cocchi di Torino)
  • Garnish with an orange twist
Peach Bellini

Add the following ingredients to a champagne glass and stir gently.

    • 15ml of Creme de Peche (Peach Liqueur)
    • 15ml of Peach Purée
    • Top with Prosecco
    Americano

    Americano

    A slightly more toned-down version of the Negroni, this is a great & refreshing apéritif and not related to coffee in any way. Add to a glass with ice and stir gently.

          • 25ml Campari
          • 25ml Red Vermouth (i.e. Martini Rosso or Cocchi di Torino)
          • Top with Soda
    Aperol Spritz

    All all the ingredients to a large wine glass filled with ice and stir gently.

          • 25ml Aperol
          • Top with Prosecco
          • Splash of Soda Water
